Friday 22nd September Oak Class
Date: 22nd Sep 2017 @ 6:32pm
Hello parents and children of Oak Class,
I just wanted to keep you updated on what we are doing in school. We have had a great week and have started some fantastic work in Literacy working on our story writing skills. We have done all of our baseline assessment in maths which will support our learning in class over the coming months. We have created a list of all the key scientific skills that we need as scientists linked to the work we have been doing on brain awareness and how we learn best. In P.E we have been working on basic skills and teamwork and how to solve problems in teams.
Next Friday afternoon we will be delivering the first family worship of the year in church at 2.30 pm in and you are all welcome to come along. This will be linked to the RE teaching that we are doing this term in Oak Class and all the children will be involved.
I will send you weekly spellings again on Monday that support the spelling patterns we are learning next week but I have also uploaded a list of all the words that year 3/4 need to learn by the end of the year. Please have a look at them and practice at home as they all use the spelling patterns that we will learn over the year.
Enjoy the weekend,
Mrs Lightfoot
