This week in Beech...

This week has been a fantastic first week back. We have all settled back into school life and worked extremely hard over the past 4 days. 

We have been looking at poetry in literacy, focusing on a poem written by Rudyard Kipling. This links to our Viking topic, the poem is about 'Dangeld'. We have used our new Talk for Writing strategies to try and remember and act out the poem. 

In maths we have been looking at multiplication, tackling the Grid method and looking at multi-step word problems. On Wednesday we started Forest School, take a look at some of the pictures!!! To finish off the week, we have also started gymnastics in PE. Very very busy week...
