This week in Beech...

We have all had a very productive week in Beech class...

Our art work is now in topic books, setting the seen of a sunset Viking invasion. We have also completed our newspaper articles based on the first wave of Viking invasions. We are midway through our character descriptions of King Alfred the Great... take a look at Miss Harpers interpretation.

In maths we have been focusing on addition and subtraction. Looking at using a range of strategies to answer questions, moving on from just frequency questions, to a range of addition based problems and reasoning scenarios. 

In science we have been investigating food chains and the digestive system, preparing for our practical experiments in a few weeks..... 

Well done to everybody for getting their research task and poems in on time, all work is to a really high standard!!!!
