This week in Beech...

This week we have been focusing on Freedom and Remembrance. We have had visits from The Royal British Legion and a special class visit from Jennie, a lady who's grandfather fought in WW1. It was great to get a real insight into a soldiers life, and it has really helped us with our work this week. We have produced a piece of work about Remembrance, a poem and a piece of art. In maths we have been looking at statistics, analysing data from bar charts and line graphs. We have been using the apparatus in gymnastics, looking at basic shapes and different types of travel. We have also been looking at music from different era's with Mrs Darlington.
